Goshin Jutsu - The Art of Self-Defense
KAZOKUKAN GOSHIN JUTSU
Goshin Jutsu is Japanese translation for Body Protection or simply self-defense. This covers a wide ranges of fundamental techniques such Kansetsu Waza (Joint-locks & Manipulation), Shime Waza (Chokes), Nage Waza (Throws & Takedowns), Ne Waza (Grappling and Submission). More advance techniques would include Tuidi-jutsu (Grab Hand Art) and Kyusho-Jutsu (Vital points/Pressure points art).
This falls in the category of what is considered "Classical Karate" (i.e. for example it has striking, joint locking, pressure points manipulation, martial science, and so on, that makes Classical karate). This includes the study of traditional Chinese medicine and the Bubishi (Account of Military Arts and Science).
